  • Here’s an easy and flavorful chicken dish to start the week: Crispy Mustard-Roasted Chicken from Ina Garten. You can call me Jeffrey, because I think this recipe is fantastic.*

  • I think people tend to think of scalloped potatoes as a special occasion side dish. And that’s fair, because it can feel a little fussy to have to slice all those taters. But if you have a good mandolin, I don’t think scalloped potatoes is that much more work, or that much less healthy, than some mash potatoes. If you’re in the mood for a rich, elevated potato side, here’s a straightforward Scalloped Potatoes recipe from Food & Wine.

  • I feel like I should eat more fish. And so I’m always on the lookout for easy recipes. I came across this video from Babish where he cooks fish three different ways (en papillote, grilled whole, and ceviche) each in around 20 minutes. Maybe, like me, you’ll find some fish inspiration for the week.
